Orrisa while describing these areas he offers glimpses into everyday life, history, military observations, topography and treaties and engagements of those various countries.Volume 2 has 22 chapters and describes Bengal, Arakan, Pegu, Burma, Thailand (Siam), Malacca, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Cambodia, Cochin-China, Tonking, Canton, Formosa and Japan.
