The book has been written keeping in view the prescribed B.Sc. Course for nurses. It should serve the teaching requirements of Allied Health Sciences Professionals as well. Of the 17 chapters, 10 chapters have been divided into two sections. One of the Chapters is on Paediatric Physiology. Section 1 covers the Anatomy of the system and Section II, the Physiology of the same system. This makes cross reference easier for the students for better understanding of the subject. The topics in Physiology have been written in simple language. The text has been illustrated with colored tables, figures and graphs. Reference has been made to "Clinical Significance" that present during their working life. This creates interest in the students and makes understanding better during clinical practice. Systemic approach has been followed in the various chapters of Anatomy. Each system has been profusely illustrated with easily reproducible colored diagrams to make the book more interesting. Highlight of the book are numerous tables on muscles, joints, nerves and arteries.
