The book was published after his death as a collaborative project between Maj. Gen. Chand Narain Das & Sh Sisir Kumar Bose. This is author's personal account of the INA Maj Gen Kiani . “GREAT" may sound pompous especially to those who are unfriendly or unsympathetically disposed either to author or to the I.N.A, but having seen it from close quarters the author considered the appellation as justified and filling...” But what, to my mind, makes the movement 'Great' is that it shook the core, the very foundations of the nearly two centuries old British Empire in India.. The book was launched by Prof Krishna Bose and Dr. Sugoto Bose. Both the dignitaries reminisced about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his INA. Prabir Mukhopadhyay has translated the book. Shri Mukhopadhyay is a poet and lyricist. Many of his poems and songs have created positive impressions in the minds of people. Prof Krishna Bose and Dr Sugoto Bose lauded the author for his sterling efforts and hoped the book would make an impression on Bengali readers.
