MLBD Catalogue Of Manuscripts In Jaisalmer Jain Bhandares by Jambuvijayaji Muni

The present grammar has been prepared with a view to meet the growing educationa need of university students. The author has done his best to bring the present grammar up to the requirements of the students. In writing the various chapters of this book, the author has cosey foowed Pannini, as expained by Bhattoji Diksita. Many of the rues given here are transations of the reevant Sutras of Panini. The origina Sutras are given in footnotes, where necessary. Sandhis and decensions are fuy treated; compounds which dominate cassica Sanskrit iterature have received specia attention; formation of feminine bases has been iustrated; Taddhita affixes have been arranged in an aphabetica order. A specia feature of the present grammar is the chapter on the "Conjugation of Verbs." The genera rues given are ampy iustrated by exampes. A the verbs which change their pada when preceded by particuar prepositions are given in an aphabetica order. The chapter on Syntax contains amost everything given in the first 20 chapters of author's Guide to Sanskrit Composition; the chapter on Prosody is based on the Chandomanjari and the Vrttaratnakara. The author has spared no pains to make the book as usefu and as compete as possibe.
