Description
New Age International (P) Ltd., Publishers Colour Television:Technology, Transmission And Reception by R R Gulati
This text is based on CCIR-625 line PAL B&G colour television standards adopted by many European, Middle East, African and Asian countries including India. The coverage is also relevant to PAL-I standards adopted by the U.K. The American NTSC, and French SECAM colour TV systems have also been accorded due coverage.
While describing all aspects of Colour Television, attempt has been made to describe fully the circuitry of colour receiver ICs together with adequate explanation of their peripheral elements. Though the technology that made colour television a success remains the same, efforts have been continuing to improve upon the system. Chapters 19 and 20 have thus been rewritten to give a peep into such innovations.
