About Author
Air Vice Marshal (Dr) Rajvir Bhalwar with an illustrious career spanning over 37 years as a renowned medical teacher, researcher, academician and healthcare administrator has been the Professor & Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He has also been the Principal of Command Hospital, Bangalore (a Postgraduate teaching institution under RGUHS). He has been guide and examiner for MD and PhD for Pune University, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), RGUHS and other eminent universities. Dr Bhalwar is the Chief Editor and Lead Author of a number of books, including the prestigious “Textbook of Public Health & Community Medicine” published by AFMC Pune & WHO India Office. He has also authored chapters in API Textbook of Medicine and in the Textbook of Environmental Medicine. He has 73 published research papers in various national and international journals.
