About the Author:-
Anamika Singh :- is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. She has masters degree in Botany from University of Allahabad and she has also completed, P.hD in Bioinformatics from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) in years 2012. During her studies she was awarded by National fellowship. Her area of research interest is Genetic Engineering, Molecular biology, Bioinformatics, Biological Databases, Phylogeny, Molecular modeling, Proteomics, Genomics, Drug Designing, Computer based Drug designing, Computational Biology, Sequence Analysis, Evolutionary Computing etc. She has published many research papers, book chapters in reputed journals and publishers.
Mani Singh :- has excellent teaching and research experience of environmental and medicinal botany. She has done masters in Botany and Ph.D in Environmental Biology. Before working at Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), New Delhi, she taught at School of Environment Science, APSU at graduate and post graduate levels and also at a college of Delhi University. She is an active environmentalist and has diverse institutional exposures, and research interests including plant conservation, biostatistics, plant systematics, plant breeding, ecotoxicology, and phytoremediation. She has several scientific and popular publications to her credit. She is member of Indian Botanical Society, Lucknow and the editorial member of The Environment, an international journal of environmental sciences.
