Dr. Balachandra
Suryakant Ankad MBBS, MD.,
Dermatology is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of
dermatology, S. Nijalingappa Medical College, Bagalkot, is an eminent
personality working in the field of Dermatology and has over two decades of
experience in the field. His areas of expertise are Dermoscopy of Hansen’s
disease, dermatophytosis, hyperpigmentary and hypopigmentary diseases. He has
published more than 50 papers in various National and International journals
and has made more than 100 presentations over various topics of his research in
dermatology. He is also the recipient of the famous WCD scholarship and is
Member of Board of Directors, International Dermoscopic Society for term
2018-2020. He is coordinator of SIG-Dermoscopy of IADVL for term 2020-2021.
Dr. Samipa Samir Mukherjee MBBS, DDVL, FRGUHS (Pediatric Dermatology), is
currently working as Consultant Pediatric Dermatologist and Dermatologist at
Department of Dermatology at Cloudnine Hospitals Bengaluru. She has a keen
interest in the areas of Paediatric Dermatology, Dermatoscopy, Genotrichoses,
Paediatric Trichology, Atopic Dermatitis, Clinical Dermatology and Medical
Trichology. Dr Samipa has presented her research at various National and
International platforms and has contributed her research which is published in
about 50 National and International Journals. She is the recipient of multiple
scholarships namely the prestigious World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology
scholarship, the American Academy of Dermatology scholarship, the European
Academy of Dermatology and Venereology scholarship and World Congress of
Dermatology scholarship for her work in Pediatric Dermatology and Dermatoscopy.
She has been a speaker at multiple national and international conferences in
Pediatric Dermatology and Dermoscopy.
Dr. Balakrishna Pralhadrao Nikam MBBS,
MD., is currently working as a consultant in Dermatology at Krishna Institute
of Medical Sciences, Deemed University, Karad, holding a highly advanced
Laboratory, equipped with state of the art microscopes with attached cameras
and conducting about 1500 biopsies for various skin disorders. Dr. Nikam is
specializes in the areas of Dermatopathology and Dermoscopy, and has published
reputable literature in various Journals at National and International level.
He is also a renowned speaker on clinico-pathological correlations and has
conducted various presentations on the same. He is also the recipient of the
famous K Siddapa Medal for his contribution in the field.
