    About the author

    Abha Mathur
    CA [Dr.] Abha Mathur is an Associate Professor at Satyawati College, University of Delhi. She has, to her credit, a long experience of 39 years, out of which her industry experience is about 14 years, and her teaching experience is about 25 years.

    Dr. Mathur started her career as the Manager (Finance) in Pure Drinks, New Delhi Ltd. and became the Head of Financial Operations (Northern India). She then joined the DCM Group at a senior position and subsequently ventured into capital markets as Director Finance in Agbros Fincap [Pvt. Ltd.]. After spending 14 years in the industry, she decided to pursue her passion for teaching and became a part of Delhi University in 1996. She continues to combine academic and professional work.

    She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has to her credit a plethora of educational qualifications and degrees such as B.Com. (Hons.), M.Com. PG Dip [Business Management], DIP [Comp. Prog] and Ph.D. from Department of Commerce, University of Delhi.

    She was a Joint Coordinator for developing the content of the Tourism paper of B.A. Programme Application Course.

    She acted as a Paper Coordinator for the subject of Accounting for Managerial Decisions for M.Com. level students, in e-Pg Pathshala, which is an E-Portal for distance-learning where she reviewed modules & contributed content for 15 Modules. She has audio/video recorded 75 Modules. She has been appointed as Coordinator for MOOCs paper Accounting for Managerial Decisions.

    She has been a special invitee for a variety of subjects in MBA Institutes, ICAI and Department of Commerce, Department of Computer Applications and Department of Adult Education of the University of Delhi, DTU, for teaching papers such as Marketing, Corporate Tax, Management, Cost Accounting, Tourism and Entrepreneurship, etc.

    She has presented 11 papers in various National level seminars/Conferences and has published 23 Articles in leading International and National Journals.
