Environment Law and Climate Change' is a comprehensive study of Environment which has been subjected to the degradation by the human activities. The Constitution of India, originally, did not contain any direct provision regarding the protection of natural environment. Perhaps, the framers of the Indian Constitution, at the time of its framing, thought it negligible problem that is why even it did not contain the expression "environment". But careful analysis of various provisions of the constitution reveals that three Articles, 47, 48 and 49 relate to environment.
