This book has been revised in light of the changes brought about in Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013 and new Accounting Standards. Besides this, solutions for 2016 University of Calcutta question papers have also been included.
As in the previous edition, utmost care has been taken to make the book well-balanced with text and problems. More than 300 solved problems that are interspersed within the text to help students develop a good understanding of the subject are thoroughly revised and updated. In addition, a variety of chapter-end exercises, including multiple choice questions, have been provided for the benefit of the users of this book.
