    About the Authors:
    Sridhar is a qualified Company Secretary and lawyer with over 23 years post qualification experience in tax and regulatory matters. A significant part of his career was spent in Delhi where he gained expertise in dealing with regulators around complex and varied matters that impacted the presence and operations of multinational corporations.
    Sridhar is currently a tax partner in Grant Thornton LLP based out of Chennai office. In his career, he has handled a wide variety of matters including mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, planning and implementing foreign investment across sectors, obtaining approvals and licenses for regulated sectors and proposals. He has also assisted in setting up / acquisition of businesses overseas (outbound investments) that are tax and regulatory complaint.
    Sridhar is a regular speaker at various fora’s across India, including the ICAI, ICSI and various trade/professional bodies where he speaks on foreign direct investment policy, exchange control law, M&A, special economic zones and income-tax law.
