About the Author
R.K. Khitoliya is Professor and Former Head, Civil Engineering Department, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. Dr. Khitoliya has vast experience of more than 33 years as researcher, administrator and academician. He has also served as Director, HBTI, Kanpur and had been founder Principal of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Information Technology, Bijnore, U.P. He has authored eight books and more than 300 technical papers, published in journals/proceedings of seminar and conferences in the fields of Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Management and Transportation Engineering. He has provided consultancy to more than 250 projects and has supervised more than 10 Ph D and about 95 M.E. theses.
Pardeep Kumar Gupta, Associate Professor, Civil Engineering, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. He is involved in teaching, research and consultancy and has around 28 years of experience. He has around 35 publications in journals and conferences. He has guided about 30 M.E. theses and has contributed to more than 300 consultancy projects. His areas of interest include Structural Design, Concrete, Pavement Design, Construction Management, Geo informatics, Transportation Engineering Bridges and Fly Ash.
