About the Author
Vikash is a Chartered Accountant (Fellow member), CFA and holds MS Finance. He is also an alumnus of St Xavier’s College, Kolkata and completed his MBA. He has studied in Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) and also holds certification in Financial Modelling (NSE) and Instructional Design (BPG, USA).
Vikash has extensive experience of over 11 years spanning across Industry and Consulting and has worked with companies like PwC, EY, ICA and Zacks Research in India and Canada. He has also served as a member of the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Vikash has been passionate about Valuation since his early career. He has worked with international Investment Research firms which exposed him to global valuation standards and practices. Early in his career, he also advised brokerage firms and investment firms in picking the right stocks after solid research and stock picking.
His valuation skills have been applied in multiple areas where he advises start-ups in assessing the value of their firms. He has successfully helped companies assess their value during Private Equity and Angel funding transactions. He also advises startups in their pursuit of excellence – specially in strategy, talent acquisition and innovation.
As a first-generation entrepreneur, he leads Omnifin Solutions Pvt Ltd (www.omnifin.in), and has mentored it to become a remarkable professional services firm. The company assists its clients in building the right team (Talent Management – Recruitment and training), develop a great talent pool (training in institutions) and solve business problems (business consulting, marketing consulting, valuation and more).
