Part one of the first volume of the three-volume \"Head and Neck Surgery\" series, this book examines surgery of the face, nose and facial skull. Chapters are organized according to surgical areas. All procedures are presented step-by-step in duotone, specially drawn watercolour illustrations which give a \"3-dimensional\" plastic image of the areas from the viewpoint of the surgeon. They are selected and described by authors from their own experience, with their appraisal of effectiveness, landmarks, danger points, pitfalls, complications and post-operative follow-up.
