The High Court Citator contains citations of all high courts from 1949 onwards. The citations are state-wise and then by year. Case research is an integral part of legal research. It is essential to find out whether the cases to be relied on are still good law, and also to ascertain how they have been interpreted in subsequent decisions. The High Court Case Citator covers cases cited in AIR (HC) from 1949 to 2008. It is extremely comprehensive, and cases, whether approved, affirmed, reversed, followed, cited, considered, relied on, doubted, explained, dissented, etc, are marked clearly for each High Court. The citations are taken state-wise for ease of reference. The citations are first provided by state, for example, Allahabad and then by year. The first citation, AIR 1949 All 1, is given, after which, the instances where that particular case was distinguished, followed, etc is also given. There is no other book in the market that covers these many years in 2 volumes.
