In this book, author have tried to compile the data from about more than 30 national and international books, to create a book which can be very much helpful to the students preparing for competitive examinations related to agronomy field. In this book attempt have been made to give simple, concise and updated information about all the aspects of agronomy. The author, have also covered the previous JRF, SRF, NET and IARI Ph.D. examination question papers with answers. The author expresses their indebtedness to the authors of various text books of agronomy, soil science, plant physiology and statistics from which they have drawn the matter for this book. In-spite of the best efforts, it is possible that some error may have occurred into compilation and editing of the book.
