This edited volume is a part of ADBIs global financial crisis project. It presents developing scenarios for growth re-balancing, reducing dependencies on exports; developing recommendations on macroeconomic policy; structural and institutional innovations; regional integration; and financial reform. It also addresses the broad theme of industrial restructuring in Asia by engaging experts from several Asian countries to comment on their individual economies. Their conclusions are then used to draw lessons for the region as a whole.
