The present book is designed to meet the requirements of undergraduate Physics students of different universities. It will also be useful for the students taking various competitive examinations. The book divided in four units and nine chapters deals with the basic concepts of Mechanics and Wave Motion. The first three units contain five chapters which cover the topics related to mechanics whereas the last unit contains four chapters which cover the topics related to wave motion.
About the Author
Vinod Kumar Singh was Lecturer in Department of Physics, ISD College (an associated college of University of Allahabad), Allahabad. He was research fellow of C.S.I.R. and published research papers in national and international journals. He has more than seventeen years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is life member of Ultrasonics Society of India (USI) and Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT).
Devraj Singh M, he was Lecturer in Department of Physics, ISD College (an associated college of University of Allahabad), Allahabad from 2002 to 2007. He has written 10 books for graduate level physics for different Indian universities and published 52 research papers in reputed national and international journals. His research interest is ultrasonic NDT characterization of condensed materials. Presently, he is affianced on mechanical and thermal properties of rare-earth materials for engineering applications.
Devendra Pratap Singh selected in U.P.P.C.S. Allied Services and presently working under U.P. State Government. He has been interested in Physics.
