A systematic problem solving approach in nursing has led to emergence of nursing process. This book through its three sections describes the nursing process and nursing models for nursing practice. It deals with each phase of the nursing process, nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The later part of the book provides case studies with the application of the nursing process for a medical, surgical and a pediatric patient.
