About Author:
Sukhpal Kaur (PhD) is Lecturer at National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. She has twenty-four years of teaching experience. She has a number of Awards and Honors to her credit. She is member of Editorial board of various National and International journals. She has one hundred and seventy-five publications in reputed journals and has contributed thirty-seven chapters in various other books. She has written seventeen books on patient education and edited eight textbooks. She has keen interest in Research, Geriatric care, Palliative care, Chronic illnesses, and Women's health. She has completed eighteen research projects as principal investigator funded from DST New Delhi; DBT New Delhi; ICMR New Delhi; DST, UT Chandigarh; and PGIMER Chandigarh Research Scheme.
Amarjeet Singh (MD Community Medicine) is Professor and Head of Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has published more than two hundred and fifty papers, hundred and thirty chapters and thirty-five books. He has completed sixty-one research projects. His work on Mobile Phone-Based Health Care (with Dr Surya Bali) was listed as an "Innovative Approaches" in HSPROD database. He initiated a new concept of establishing Multipurpose Behavior Therapy Room in OPD to enhance satisfaction of doctors and patients. He has also produced eight short films on various topics of public health. He is a recipient of Harcharan Singh Oration and Dhanwantri Oration.
