First chapter gives a brief account of the 'Anatomy and Physiology of the Eye' which is essential to understand eye diseases.Second chapter describes in detail the 'Role of a nurse in the care of ophthalmic patients.' Eye diseases have been covered in a concise way with an emphasis on nursing care. Role of a nurse as a 'Community eye health worker' has also been discussed.
