About the Author
Dr D N Vishwakarma, formerly, Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He obtained his B.Sc.(Engineering), M.Sc.(Engineering) and Ph.D. from Patna University, Patna. He had earlier served as Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Bihar College of Engineering, Patna (presently, National Institute of Technology Patna). He has a teaching and research experience of over 42 years and has contributed about 95 research papers to various national and international journals and conferences. He is a senior member of IEEE (USA), a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), and a fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Life Member of Systems Society of India and Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education. He was awarded distinguished Engineer’s award by the Institution of Engineers (India) in 2021.
Badri Ram, formerly Professor and Head of Department of Electrical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Patna and Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Patna University, Patna, obtained a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Ranchi University, M.E. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; and Ph.D. from Patna University. He has about 40 years of teaching and research experience. An author of four books, he has a number of papers in various national and international journals to his credit. He was awarded honorary fellowship by the National Association of Computer Educators and Trainers in the year 1996.
