The pre historical era of India is the birth period of the Art, not only in the India but in the whole world. The form of art which is developed in this time period is termed as Rock Art . It is enclosed through the words of Herbert Kuhn, that Art is the manifestation of culture, the beginning of human existence together . Art in any form is an expression of the inner self of an individual, person or group people. These questions raised are those including focusing on the nature and function of symbolism expressed concerning with the various purposes of art Art serves many purposes in different concepts and societies.
