Ragging, in one form or the other, has been practiced in educational institutions and institutions of higher learning since time immemorial and despite several measures undertaken, including the legal regime established, achieving a ragging-free environment is still a distant dream. A large part of it can be attributed to our reluctance to recognize ragging as a real issue.
