He is currently the editor of the GIScience and Geo-environmental Modelling (GGM) Book Series. Uday Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Bhatter College, Dantan. He researches urban planning, social and human geography, geographical information system, applied geomorphology, hazards, disasters, land use, and rural development. He is the Series Editor of Development in Environmental Science Book Series, Elsevier. He has published eight books and more than 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 15 book chapters. Gopal Krishna Panda is an Emeritus Professor in Geography and former Chief Executive of the Population Research Centre at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Author of six books, he teaches and researches coastal geomorphology, remote sensing, climate change, natural hazards, and disaster management. Currently working as a faculty member of Department of Geography, School of Tribal Resource Management, KISS Deemed University, Bhubaneswar. Pravat Kumar Shit is an Assistant Professor at the Postgraduate Department of Geography, Raja N.L. Khan Women’s College (Autonomous), West Bengal. He has published eighteen books and more than 75 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 74 book chapters.
