Description
Sweet & Maxwell Russel On Arbitration 20Th Edition by Sutton Gill
It has been nearly eight years since the 23rd Edition of Russell. This period, somewhat inevitably, was longer than originally intended and has resulted in a significant number of developments needing to be captured in this 24th Edition. The number of relevant judicial decision between 1 June 2007 and 30 April 2015 (the law in force dates for the 23rd and 24th Editions respectively) which refer to arbitration produces a daunting list of more than 800 decisions. Some of these decisions are obviously irrelevant to the contents of this book, but the majority required careful review. The Supreme Court has considered English arbitration law on 24 occasions during this period. Alongside these decisions, we have considered certain foreign decisions which shed light on English arbitration law, as well as changes in various institutional rules.
