About the author
Dr. Srinivasa Raghavan. R., MD, MRCPCH, FIAP, in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, is the Assistant Professor
in the Developmental Pediatrics unit of Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India. He completed his MBBS
and MD Pediatrics from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.
He received the best outgoing postgraduate medal for Pediatrics in the year 2012. He also went on to complete his
senior residency at JIPMER with a keen interest to learn developmental Pediatrics, he joined the Christian Medical
College, Vellore. His areas of interest include Specific learning disability, Neurometabolic disorders, Cerebral Visual
insufficiency, and early identification and community-based management of developmental delays. He enjoys
teaching clinical pediatrics to both undergraduates and postgraduates. He has more than 30 publications to his
credit. He has been involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for 10 years.
