Prof. Lodder has been a clinical neurologist for almost thirty years and a professor of vascular neurology to the University of Maastricht since 2006. Two years ago he retired but still enjoys a nonpaid appointment to the University Hospital and University which allows him to carry out formal research such as the SEKWONDO study.
