About the Author:
Dr. C P Kothandaraman is former Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He had his education at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai and Michigan State University, USA. He had been the faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the PSG College of Technology during 1957 to 1992. He has considerable experience in teaching various subjects in the field of Thermal Engineering including Heat Transfer. He serves as a consultant to industries in the field of design of heat exchangers and air heaters. He has to his credit books in the field of Thermal Engineering, Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics and Machinery which are updated periodically.
