She did her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and MD Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from Sawal Man Singh Modical College, Jaipur, India. She has received dedicated training in anaesthesia super specialties such as cardiac, nouro, gastro-onco and bariatric anaesthesia. She has also done Diploma in Hospital Management and is a national external assessor with National Quality Assurance Standards. Her special areas of interest apart from Anaesthesia include Pain Management, Regional Nerve Blocks, healthcare quality and patient safety. Nishkarsh Gupta, MD, DNB, MNAMS, PGCCHM, FIPM, is working as Professor in Department Onco-Anaesthesiology and Palliative Medicine at Dr BRAIRCH, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College and a gold medalist. He is editor of Indian Journal of Palliative Care and is on editorial board/panel of various other journals. He is the chief editor of the first South Asian edition of Clinical Anesthesia by Barash and Understanding Anesthesia Equipment by Dorsh and Dorsh. He is also an editor of five more books including Airway Manual, Techniques in Anesthesia, Onco-Critical Care, Update in Onco-Anesthesia and Problem-Based Learning Discussion in Onco-Anesthesia. He has more than 250 publications in various national and international journals and has also authored several book chapters. He received MK DEY AWARD 2022 by Indian College of Anesthesiologists at Chandigarh. He also received 'Best Researcher Award in 2021 by ISA, Varanasi, and the "Best Reviewer Award' in ISACON, Ahmedabad, apart from several other awards received in the past. He is an instructor of various skill-based training programs and has been faculty in several national and international conferences. He is involved in many research projects funded by AIIMS and national agencies like ICMR.
