About the Authors
Urmila Devi Bhardwaj PhD, MSc (CHN), BSc, is a former Professor cum Principal, Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi and Former Professor cum Dean, School of Nursing Sciences & Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The author is having 35 years of teaching experience and more than 6 years of experience in Nursing Administration as Nursing Superintendent at Holy Family Hospital and Majeedia Hospital, New Delhi. She got a lifetime achievement award from Samaj Vikas Sansthan, Meerut for her contribution to promoting rural and urban community health. In addition, she has also received Basanti Devi Award for best thesis in her Master's degree Program. Punjab University, Chandigarh. She has been awarded best bedside nurse and best employee in Holy Family Hospital. Last but not least, the author won best student award in AIIMS during her BSc Nursing Program.
Her areas of interest are Nursing Research, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Education, Nursing Management, Women and Child Health, Adolescent Health, and Women Empowerment.
Suchhanda Bhattacharya MSc (CHN), BSc, RM, RN, is currently working as Tutor/Assistant Proctor, Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. She is a former Clinical Instructor, Government College of Nursing, Kolkata, West Bengal. She graduated from West Bengal Health University, Kolkata in 2007 and completed her Master's degree from Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard.
The Author is a life member of NQOCN, INAC, and SFNP and has published many papers in National, International and Scopus Journal. She has presented many scientific papers at National and International levels. She has been actively participating and contributing to the academic development of the nursing fraternity. Last but not least, the author has also participated in many national and international conferences as an eloquent speaker.
