Since the VCI course curriculum was implemented, need of a suitable literature for the students of Pathology was felt at many fora, Pathology forms a vital link between basic subjects of anatomy, biochemistry and a physiology on the one hand, and clinical subjects of surgery, gynaecology and medicine, on the other. The students of Veterinary Pathology faced difficulties in understanding exhaustive and voluminous books on the subjects. The main purpose of the Veterinary Pathology-Quick Review and Self Assessment, is to provide the Undergraduate Veterinary Students a textbook in short, so that they can quickly review the subject before examination particularly competitive examinations. To broaden the scope further laboratory methods including postmortem examination, histopathology and clinicopathological procedures are alos included in the appendices. The book is well described with salient features of macroscopic and microscopic observations and divied in four sections-General Pathology, Systemic Pathology, Special Pathology-I and Special Patholgoy-II. Model questions and their answers are given to self assess while studying Pathology for further continual improvement in the knowledge.
