B Ramesh Chaithra TM MD (BOM), DGO, FCPS, DFP, Diploma in Gynae Endoscopy (USA), Fellowship in Assisted Reproduction (UK, Finland) is a consultant gynaecologic endoscopic surgeon, an infertility and ART specialist, and urogynaecologist. He is very keen on training young gynaecologists in gynaecologic endoscopy at Altius Hospital which is a recognized centre by the Federation of Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) for advanced training in gynaecologic laparoscopy and ICOG. The Fellowship Program in Gynaecologic Endoscopy is recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and also recognized by the Ministry of Health. He has successfully trained more than1400 gynaecologists from all over India and from countries like Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc., and is providing hands-on training to rural gynaecologists deputed by Government of Karnataka. He has assisted in setting up nascent laparoscopic units to promote use of laparoscopic technology on a wider scale across the country. He has successfully conducted 8 international workshops and conferences named ‘RAGE’ (Recent Advances in Gynaecology, Gynaec Endoscopy, and Urogynaecology) at Altius Hospital, Bengaluru, with several world-renowned international faculty from Europe, USA, Singapore. Chaithra TM is a laparoscopic surgeon and infertility specialist, practising in Ernakulam, Kerala. She has published articles as the primary author in JMIG, GYSU, FOGSI and other international journals. She has rendered services in obstetrics and gynaecology for the past 6 years in various health sectors, keeping special interest in advanced laparoscopy and infertility.
