Textile Printing is the process of applying color to fabric in definite patterns or designs. Textile Printing was known in Europe, via the Islamic world, from about the 12th century And widely used all over the world. Textile Printing is related to dyeing but in dyeing properly the whole fabric is uniformly covered with one color, whereas in printing one or more colors are applied to it in certain parts only, and in sharply defined patterns. In all my books, I share more than 25 years of experience working on the shop floor in various textile mills in India and abroad.
