Description
National Book Trust Khoka by Moupia Basu and Illustrations by Partha Sengupta
This book is a compilation of stories, some short, some not-so-short, with Khoka as the common protagonist, who having lost his father at the age of three, is tossed amongst his many relatives, stretching from the plains of Bangladesh to the plateau of erstwhile Bihar. Despite this, Khoka grows up in an environment killed with laughter, fun and thrills. Khoka's life is a merry-go-round of adventures and there is a constant supply of excitement. It is these adventures and incidents which fill up the chapters as stories told by a mother to her son Prahlad, at a different time, in a different place.
