Even today during the Hola Mohalla festivities the Sikh warriors ride out in blood-curdling charges. At their head always is a warrior leading a rider-less horse. The symbolism is clear. It is believed that the Guru himself leads his warriors into battle. This is the third photo-book in a sequence of works on Sikh shrines and spirituality. He has written books of poetry and fiction.
