Biological Resources of a huge variety are available to the mankind since his origin and man has been using them for various purposes and growing them traditionally. He has increased their production many folds due to improved technologies. However, the exploding human production is creating severe crisis of several bio-resources. It is only the wise and planned management of these bio-resources which may lead to their un-interrupted supply. Articlesin this book are focused deeply on the management of different bioresources, viz food crops, forests, fodder, non-timber-forest-produce, medicinal plants, weeds and microbes etc. Some of them were presented in a National Seminar organized at the Government Girls Post Graduate Autonomous College at Sagar during 26-27 March 2011, but others have been written specially for this volume.
