    BV Subrahmanyam MD, DCrL, AAFS, FIAFM, FICFMT, DYo is currently consultant and medicolegal adviser; ex-Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Narayana Medical College, Nellore; and former Chairman, Paraclinical Studies, Faculty of Medicine, and Head, PG Centre and Department of Forensic Medicine, South Gujarat University, and Government Medical College, Surat. 
    Prof Subrahmanyam has rich experience of 48 years in teaching and practice of forensic medicine, toxicology and medical jurisprudence. He has worked in Sri Venkateswara medical college, Tirupati; Osmania Hospital and Medical College, Hyderabad; Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi; Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal; and Medical Colleges at Baroda, Jamnagar, Surat and Bhavnagar, in various capacities including Assistant Professor, Professor, Dean and Medical Superintendent. He has helped the investigating agencies in solving many difficult cases from the forensic medicine point of view. He has been examiner for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal, Manipur, Assam, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, AIIMS, UCMS, Delhi, BHU, Chandigarh, etc. He has received ‘Life-Time Achievement Award’, ‘VB Sahai Award’ and ‘Ujas Award’ for this distinguished services to the society. He is Fellow of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine and Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. BV Subrahmanyam MD, DCrL, AAFS, FIAFM, FICFMT, DYo is currently consultant and medicolegal adviser; ex-Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Narayana Medical College, Nellore; and former Chairman, Paraclinical Studies, Faculty of Medicine, and Head, PG Centre and Department of Forensic Medicine, South Gujarat University, and Government Medical College, Surat. He is editor of the popular text Parikh’s Textbook of Medical Jurisprudence, Hospital Management and Administration: Principles and Practice, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and has written Forensic Psychiatry and Hospital Management and Administration (all published by CBSPD). 

    SV Phanindra PhD is currently Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Narayana Medical College, Nellore. Earlier, he worked in SV Medical College, Tirupati, and NRI Medical College, Mangali, Vijayawada. He had a stint in Jamaica before joining Nellore. He is examiner for many medical colleges in AP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala for MBBS and MD students.
