In the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), he was the Chairman of Medical Disorders in Pregnancy Committee. In the year 2008 Prof. Konar became the Vice-President of FOGSI. In the International Field Prof. Konar was the Member & Fellow Representative of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG). Prof. Konar is a life member of all these organization and also that of Indian Medical Association (IMA)
