    Description

Our Knowledge Publishing How To Solve Problems Related To Pharmacotherapy 2021 Edition by Zico Ehulu Kombozi

The use of medicinal products is not without risk; medicinal therapy may induce undesirable effects, reactions or events, both because of the specific effects of the medicinal products concerned and because of the context and modalities of their use. Drug Therapy Problems (DTP) is a major public health issue. Many studies have shown that PRPs are a cause of hospitalization or prolongation of hospitalization. In order to identify PRPs that occur when writing medical prescriptions for hypertensive patients and to contribute to the improvement of the safety and quality of care of these patients, we proposed to conduct a study on medical prescriptions for hypertensive patients consulting at the University Clinics of Kisangani (CUKIS).The main objective of our study is to contribute to the improvement of the management of hypertensive patients consulting at the CUKIS. 210 out of 579 records of hypertensive patients consulted between January 2015 and December 2017 were used.
