Multifocal tuberculosis is a rare but serious form of tuberculosis. It can occur in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised individuals. The clinical entities are highly variable and all locations can be observed as well as the different associations. Its multiple appearance is often misleading and can lead to misdiagnosis. This form is associated with a high mortality rate. It often requires prolonged and heavy treatment. Systematic assessment of the spread of any tuberculosis site can lead to better management and avoid complications.
