Description
Wiley India (Mehul Exclusive) Polymer Analysis by Stuart B
The intention of this book is to introduce the reader to the wide range of analytical techniques that are available for characterizing polymeric materials. The emphasis and focus is on the properties of polymers, not on the technique employed. Although there are a number of texts which discuss polymer analysis, there is no current book which provides extensive use of questions and problems to aid student understanding. The majority of books on the subject contain too much theory and very little practical advice, which is why this proposal is needed. This book is a title in the "Analytical Techniques in the Sciences" series, which in 1998 replaced the ACOL series. The two books already in this series are Currell or Analytical Instrumentation and Egg ins or Chemical Sensors and Biosensors. "Polymer Analysis" would compliment these books and highlight the broader subject area of the new series.
