About Editor
Avinash Kaur Rana is a former Lecturer at National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE) PGIMER,
Chandigarh, India. She obtained her diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, BSc Nursing (Post Basic), MSc
Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing) and PhD from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. She has considerable
teaching experience as Sister Tutor (1985–2016), Clinical Instructor (1985–1999) and Lecturer (2000
till date).
Sushma Kumari Saini is presently working as faculty at National Institute of Nursing Education,
PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. She has completed her graduation (Nursing) in 1985 and postgraduation
(MSc Nursing with specialization in Community Health Nursing) in 1992 from College of Nursing,
PGIMER, Chandigarh. Then, she completed her PhD in 2006 from Panjab University Chandigarh. The
author has about 37 years of experience in Nursing. She is guide for PhD students in Nursing enrolled
in Indian Nursing Council (INC) consortium and PGIMER, Chandigarh. She had been Chief Editor of
Indian Journal of Community Health Nursing.
