About the Author:-
Sonam Kumar Pruthi MBBS, MD is currently Specialist, Department of Pathology, Hindu Rao Hospital and NDMC Medical College, New Delhi. After completing his MBBS and MD (Pathology) from prestigious Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka, India, he worked as Consultant Hematologist in national reference lab of Dr Lal Path Lab, Rohini, New Delhi, following which he completed his senior residency from Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital and Medical College, Rohini, New Delhi. He has immense interest in the fields of histopathology and cytopathology. He also teaches students of various courses and students love his unique way of teaching as he makes the subject easy to understand. His ‘Pathology-Page’ posts over internet social sites are followed and he reaches out to thousands of students throughout India and abroad. He has already written two books Comprehensive Review of Pathology, and My Pathology Notes for FMGE, and has to his credit many research publications in national and international journals. In the writing of this book, Dr Pruthi has been ably assisted by two coauthors: Dr Namrata Sarin and Dr Sompal Singh.
