Paras Medical Publisher Retina Cases Illustrated (101 Cases in Rentinal Diseases) by Anina Abraham
The Retina Cases Illustrated is a compilation of 101 cases of retinal disorders commonly seen in an ophthalmology clinic. Each case is briefly described and details of fundus examination are explained along with important tips to help diagnose these cases. This book is meant to help ophthalmologists understand how to diagnose simple and complicated retinal disorders, which investigations would help in the diagnosis and management and when surgery is indicated in certain cases. Each case is divided into case history, fundus examination, investigations and management. The cases are meant to help simplify the diagnosis of most types of retinal disorders. Each of these cases have been diagnosed in a private retina hospital and documented using a hand-held fundus camera. Most cases described have unremarkable changes in the anterior segment. Hence visual acuity directly correlates with fundus findings unless otherwise mentioned. Most cases have been described and photographed before and after the treatment to help the reader understand how the retina looks after treatment.
