Reference Press Terrorism Strikes by Basetty Narshingh Rao
After having successfully attacked the US's World Trade Center and Pentagon with precision, terrorists are continuing to issue threats and attacking many other places. In India, within a space of few months, terrorists attacked the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly building and the Indian Parliament House while it was in session. Hindu temples have become soft targets. The Raghunath Temple in Jammu, the Aksharadam Temple in Gujarat, the Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and the Sankatmochan Temple at Varanasi were attacked, claiming the lives of many innocent people. Train stations and other public places have also become easy targets for terrorists, as seen in Mumbai, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and London. Terrorists have created chaos by exploding bombs in Bangladesh and Indonesia. Even though world leaders have condemned these brutal acts, terrorism is still unabated. Osama bin Laden who masterminded the collapse of the World Trade Center is still hiding, spreading the tentacles of terrorism across the world. Although democracy has been restored in Afghanistan under the active support of allied forces, the Taliban is still indulging in terrorist acts by killing innocent people. Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir are attacking both civilians and security personnel. This book examines the treacherous and macabre acts of terrorists in India and all over the world.
