He is a recipient of Overseas Scholarship for Living Donor Liver Transplantation awarded by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. He is pioneer in liver transplantation in the state of Gujarat and has to his 1st Living Donor Liver Transplant, 1st Paediatric Liver Transplant, 1st Liver Transplant without Blood Transfusion and 1st Combined Liver Kidney Transplant in the state of Gujarat, India. He is also on the panel of examiners for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.
